There is no doubt that events and celebrations pull people together. Here at Arrow Senior Living, we believe Halloween is a perfect time to build up our team and encourage workplace camaraderie. It helps create traditions, provides opportunities for intergenerational fun, and builds positive morale within the team. Plus, it’s a great holiday to let the team break loose and plan some seasonal fun!
This year, teams in our communities will be doing pumpkin carving and painting, cookie decorating, and costume contests for both the residents and employees. There will be trick-or-treating, allowing children to interact with one another as they go throughout our community in their costumes. This creates a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween without missing out on any candy. Many of the residents will be decorating their own masterpieces to display around the communities. Several communities are planning trunk-or-treating events as well.
Halloween-themed Happy Hour celebrations for residents and employees are planned with great food and drinks, games, and music. A fun-filled time is expected by all as everyone dresses up in their crazy and scary costumes.
Traditions like this are important because it brings everyone together with cohesiveness, fun, joy, and laughter. It builds even a stronger bond between residents and employees, showing you can have genuine fun in the workplace and create moments we all can remember.
Celebrating Halloween at work can be a great opportunity to have fun while team building and improving company culture. We love having these built-in opportunities to have fun and grow together as a team!
