The Holiday Season is upon us, and we are celebrating in a big way at Arrow Senior Living! Many residents make their homes in Arrow Senior Living communities. They have spent decades of their lives creating memorable holiday traditions with their families. Our intent throughout the season is to create moments that celebrate all sorts of traditions. With the goal that our residents feel at home during the holiday season. Moments like these are what make the holiday season extra special.
Last year, we celebrated 45 days of cheer. This year, we’re going even bigger with a whopping 46 Days of Holiday Cheer! We’ve made several exciting additions we can’t wait to enjoy. Beautiful new evergreen trees served as the centerpieces of our Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremonies. The trees were planted on the grounds of our communities. On December 14th, residents and staff broke out their favorite dip recipes for a Dipmas Party!
While there are some new and exciting additions to this year’s traditions. We’re thankful for the moments spent celebrating our beloved traditions from years past. Among our favorites are sharing snowflake blessings, toasting hot cocoa drinks during Marshmallow World Happy Hours, and singing Christmas carols throughout the communities. We also continued our intergenerational Story Corner with a reading of “Here Comes Hanukkah.”
While many days are behind us, the holiday cheer will continue through the end of December and into the first week of January. This allows our residents time to enjoy plenty of classic Holiday traditions as well as new and exciting moments. To round out the 46-day extravaganza, the culinary teams will take us on a special daily dining experience by highlighting dishes themed around the 12 Days of Christmas!
At Arrow Senior Living, our favorite part about Holiday Cheer is the opportunity to see residents, staff, and family members enjoying the Christmas season together. We spend time reminiscing about memories while creating exciting new ones. Each Holiday Cheer event is unique, and it’s fun to see the communities celebrate them in their own way.
